Good range of magazines, books and stationery but it is on the expensive side compared to supermarkets and cheaper places like The Works. Self service checkouts are handy to save waiting as long to pay.

I went to this garage not knowing what make of car I wanted.i had a look around then a nice lady Kathy came out to me and asked what I was looking for.she pointed out purgoet 307 that had just come in and needed a massive clean up and a check out but I really liked the car.i picked my car up a few days later and was amazed how fabulously clean my car was.fab job guys.i had my car serviced by a friend and he found a few faults so I returned to the garage and was faced with the staff witch was brilliant and said they would sort it all out I can't thank the team at this garage for there understanding and help they have gave me.they are new owners of this garage and I hugely recommend you go and see them.a very happy customer THANK YOU GUYS

Best car wash around on the forcourt. You can drop parcels off at the garage too which is very handy especially as it's 24hours

Passed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 For DAS first time with Kev! Which is a testament to the training I received at BikeSmart. The lessons were informative, Kev was patient and let me progress comfortably and well within my capabilities. So as for someone who had no experience on a bike apart from my CBT it was superb! Well recommended amongst my friends and myself!

Good chemist and quite helpful but, if there is a few people waiting for prescriptions, they bring them all out at the same time, instead of each one when ready. So, some people are left waiting needlessly.

This has been my family chemist for over 30 yrs. You couldn't ask for nicer, more helpful, friendly and willing staff.

Great discounts for loyalty card holders

Large department store located in Wigan town centre. There are two entrances, one of which is from the undercover car park. The car park is quite expensive. There are two floors to this store with escalators going to the upper floor. It sells clothes, including children's and house hold goods such as bedding. There is a cafe on the upper floor which can get very busy. It has toilets including a separate one for baby changing. Well laid out, but it does get very busy.

Long timely queue at all tills and this was at 9:45. They need to be more efficient. I had to put the items back and return 30 mins later, which they had more staff on the tills then. Clothes are excellent, but promotions aren't clear on all items that are on offer,.

Unffortunateky 2 tills down at the Wigan branch. Queues too long. Staff very friendly and cheerful though,sharing cakes and drinks!!

I was so impressed by my experience in Fairytale Endings! I need to purchase both a prom dress for my niece and a wedding dress for my daughter this year and have been dreading the process! Having been told by asked one local company and one national company that they could find no faults in our computer set-up ,we turned to Wigan Traders and invited Mr Haslam to try to solve the problem . Within twenty-four hours the computer was returned,fully functioning and we were given a clear explanation of what had been the problem. We cannot speak too highly of Mr Haslam and thank him very much .

Brilliant shop it only cost me £5 to get a replacement inner tube I would normally pay that with out fitting meaning I would do it myself but the fact that he only charged me £5 in total including fitting was amazing the only drawback is the shop is tiny so getting your bike fixed on the same day is hit or miss but other than that it’s amazing

The Range has a great variety of goods for the home and garden, many of which you struggle to find elsewhere. The Wigan branch has good car parking and is easy to access. There is a good crafts and art section in addition to the other stock, plus some lighting and furniture.

This is a good place for a wide range of goods, hence the name I suppose. Easy free parking and easy access for anyone with a wheelchair. Prices are good but some of the cheap tools you need to watch out for as the quality is not good. Can highly recommend it for most things.

Great place to hire from, hired a petrol post hole borer a few months back saved me so much time, polite and friendly staff, will defo use them again, better than the big chain hire shops.

I often visit the BHF shop in Wigan with my Mother..... what a great place ' its clean' the staff are very pleasant and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The wide range of good quality furniture at very reasonable prices is amazing. As a cable wholesaler and distributor, short lengths would be cheaper at your local electrical shop, but for bulk orders, their prices are very good. Some lengths on drums are estimated, but very much in the customer's favour. Eg: a 20m drum I bought had 34m on it.

Owners very helpful and friendly. I'm no gardener but suspect they have most typical plants and trees for your garden plus nice stoneware (statues, gargoyle etc). It's not a day out sort of place like some of these large scale places with shops and cafes - it is a smaller local nursery where help and advice is always on hand.

I was served by Katie when trying to purchase a birthday present for my Aunt: what a lovely and informative member of staff. She showed me several pieces and advised which were the best sellers along with her personal favourites. She added an extra touch by asking what the gift was for and told me of pieces that included amethyst for February birth dates. Something I wouldn’t have even thought about doing but added that extra thoughtfulness that you just cannot teach to staff. I will be coming into this tote every time a birthday, anniversary or celebration is due. Thanks so much

Turned 40 in December 2017 and decided I wanted a companion for me and my partner. After a lot of debating we decided we wanted a baby parrot. I couldn't get one for my 40th but thats not an issue. We looked everywhere and after a few visits to different places we had a place and bird in mind. Appleton Exotics. From the first visit we were sold. They had no Baby Greys available in December but I wasn't put off. Ive still not got my bird... I put myself on a waiting list for a few quid and I was third on the list. I have waited what seemes like ages even calling to see if their Greys have had eggs yet. Ive got Appleton Exotics on my facebook and as soon as i saw the post saying they had 3 greys ready to go into the shop I called them. I was now 2nd on the list as someone had dropped out. I was invited to come to the store to see the birds and even select one. The bird chose me. The bird kept coming too me and had great interaction with me. I still don't have my bird but it will soon be ready. After the long wait I am really happy, I go to see the bird every week and spend about 30 minutes in the shop with my bird learning. All the advice and the guys have given me and the service they have provided from day 1 is first class and above and beyond what I imagined. Thank you guy's.. Paul W..

Fantastic little shop for all Wigan Warriors fans. The staff are very friendly and the merchandise is reasonably priced and of good quality.

The lady we spoke to over the phone was very helpful and polite. She supplied all the details needed for an online order from Australia to a UK address. With prompt delivery which was also free! Very happy customers.

Good place to get a bargain as long as it isn’t a new AAA Xbox one or PS4 title which are usually far more expensive than Game who are usually the most expensive. Competitive prices given when selling old electronics and games. Loads of DVDs upstairs if your still into buying standard definition content in 2018. Quite a partly Blu-ray selection.

All the staff here are super nice and the shop offers loads of varieties of movies, games and technology.

Huge amount of choice at decent prices. Also stock American sweets and chocolate too. They have quite a big homeware department selling all sorts of kitchen appliances (steamer, etc). Always worth a visit before heading to other shops just to see if you can get it there cheaper. Only thing is it needs modernising inside as it feels dated. Staff are friendly enough though.
